This Privacy Policy explains how Savn collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when customers, merchants, sales-team users, and other visitors use our marketplace.

This policy applies to the Savn website, accounts, merchant storefronts, purchases, vouchers, support services, and related communications.
Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to information processed by Craig Morgan, an individual doing business as Morgan Media Creations and Savn, referred to as “Savn,” “we,” “us,” or “our.”
It does not govern the independent privacy practices of participating merchants, Stripe, Google, or other third parties. Those parties may process information under their own privacy policies.
Information we collect
Information you provide
We may collect information such as:
- Name, email address, telephone number, and password;
- Billing and transaction-related information;
- Customer support messages and dispute information;
- Deal preferences, saved locations, and purchase history;
- Voucher information, including voucher codes, redemption status, and redemption history;
- Photographs, videos, messages, and other content you submit; and
- Other information you choose to provide through forms, communications, or account settings.
Sales-team information
For sales-team users, we may also collect:
- Account and contact information;
- Merchant assignments and related activity;
- Commission, earnings, and payment records;
- Tax or payment information needed to administer compensation;
- Account notices and dismissal activity; and
- Communications with Savn and assigned merchants.
Merchant information
For merchants, we may also collect:
- Business and storefront names;
- Owner or authorized representative information;
- Business addresses and redemption locations;
- Business telephone numbers, websites, and social profiles;
- Tax, payout, identity, and verification information;
- Licenses, permits, and other business documentation;
- Deal descriptions, prices, restrictions, images, and videos;
- Voucher redemptions, transactions, refunds, and payouts; and
- Communications with Savn, customers, and support personnel.
Information collected automatically
When you use Savn, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
- IP address and approximate geographic location;
- Browser, operating system, and device information;
- Pages viewed and links selected;
- Referring pages and campaign information;
- Dates, times, and duration of visits;
- Account, purchase, and redemption activity;
- Cookie and similar technology identifiers;
- Error reports, diagnostics, and security logs; and
- General interaction and usage information concerning Savn.
How we use information
Savn may use information to:
- Create, maintain, authenticate, and secure accounts;
- Process purchases, refunds, disputes, fees, and payouts;
- Create and deliver digital vouchers;
- Confirm and record voucher redemption;
- Operate merchant storefronts and deal listings;
- Verify merchants and authorized representatives;
- Administer sales-team accounts, merchant assignments, commissions, and compensation;
- Provide customer service and respond to requests;
- Detect fraud, misuse, security threats, and illegal activity;
- Investigate complaints and enforce our agreements;
- Personalize deals and location-based content;
- Analyze performance, usage, reliability, and customer experience;
- Develop, maintain, and improve Savn;
- Send transactional messages, security alerts, account notices, in-app announcements, and service communications;
- Send marketing communications where permitted by law and subject to your communication preferences;
- Comply with law, legal process, and regulatory obligations;
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal rights and claims; and
- Carry out other purposes disclosed when information is collected.
Payments and Stripe
Savn uses Stripe to process customer payments and may use Stripe Connect or related Stripe services to facilitate merchant verification and payouts.
Payment card information may be submitted directly to Stripe. Savn does not intend to store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes on its own servers.
Stripe may collect and process payment, identity, device, fraud, bank-account, and transaction information under its own terms and privacy policy.
Savn may receive limited information from Stripe, such as a transaction identifier, payment status, card brand, partial account details, billing information, verification status, dispute information, and payout information.
Account and email service providers
If you choose Google sign-in, Google and Savn may exchange account authentication information, such as your name, email address, provider identifier, and sign-in status, as needed to create or access your Savn account. Google processes information under its own privacy practices.
Savn uses email-delivery providers, including Resend, to deliver purchase confirmations, merchant invitations, invoices, newsletters, support-related messages, and other communications. Those providers may process recipient addresses, message content, delivery status, and related technical information.
Google Analytics
Savn may use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use our website.
Google Analytics may collect information such as session activity, general device and browser characteristics, approximate location, referring sources, and interactions with pages and features.
Savn uses this information to evaluate traffic, improve navigation, measure performance, understand customer journeys, and improve our services.
Google may process analytics information under its own terms, contractual commitments, and privacy practices.
Sale and sharing of personal information
Savn does not sell personal information for money in the ordinary meaning of the word “sell.”
Certain privacy laws may define “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” more broadly and may treat some analytics or advertising technologies as regulated disclosures.
Where required, Savn will provide applicable notices and methods for exercising opt-out rights.
Public storefront information
Merchant storefront information may be visible publicly, including business names, logos, descriptions, addresses, redemption locations, websites, social profiles, photographs, videos, deals, and customer-facing contact information.
Content submitted to public areas should not include sensitive or confidential personal information.
Search engines and third parties may index, copy, or retain publicly available information outside Savn's control.
Data retention
Savn retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the services, maintain accounts, provide vouchers, process transactions, fulfill legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and protect legal rights.
Retention periods vary according to the type of information and the reason it was collected.
Some information may be retained after account closure when necessary for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, chargeback, dispute, security, backup, or legal purposes.
Information security
Savn uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards intended to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
No internet transmission, database, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your password and promptly reporting suspected account misuse.
Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Request access to personal information;
- Request correction of inaccurate information;
- Request deletion of certain information;
- Obtain a portable copy of certain information;
- Opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling;
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
- Appeal Savn's response to a privacy request where applicable.
You may also update certain account information directly through your account.
To submit a privacy request, email support@savnstartshere.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law, but we may require evidence of their authority and verification of the consumer’s identity.
Savn will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Communication preferences
Savn may send service-related communications concerning purchases, vouchers, security, account activity, merchant storefronts, sales-team assignments, commissions, refunds, disputes, in-app announcements, or material policy changes. You may not be able to opt out of communications necessary to provide the services.
You may unsubscribe from promotional email using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent transactional or account-related messages.
Children’s privacy
Savn is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Accounts, purchases, and merchant services are intended for adults who are at least 18 years old.
Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information to Savn without appropriate authorization.
United States state privacy disclosures
Residents of certain states may have privacy rights under state law. The availability and scope of these rights depend on the applicable law and whether Savn meets the law’s coverage requirements.
Categories of information Savn may collect are described in the “Information we collect” section. The business and commercial purposes for using information are described in “How we use information.” The categories of recipients are described in “How we disclose information.”
Savn does not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16 for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Processing in the United States
Savn is based in the United States. Information may be processed and stored in the United States and other locations where Savn's service providers operate.
Privacy and data-protection laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you reside.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
Savn may update this Privacy Policy as its services, practices, vendors, or legal obligations change.
The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Where legally required, Savn may provide additional notice or request consent.
